No matter what marketing tactics you employ for your brand new mobile app, it is vital that you are consistent in the use of your call to actions.

Most marketers and founders make the mistake of focusing only on the appeal of an ad copy, or the quality of a blog. Though important, it is incomplete without letting the potential user know what they should be doing next.

Some of the easiest ways you can add a CTA is to use phrases like sign up, download now, click here, subscribe, register now, and try app.

The Advantages of CTA

Call to Actions when used strategically can actually create feelings of FOMO amongst your target users. When you make statements such as “people who download in the next 24 hours get 20% off subscription fees” you are saying more than just hey sign up if you want to

A call to action is also effective in getting the users’ attention. With so much content bombarding the internet your potential users will only give your app’s ad a few seconds before moving on. It is important that you make those seconds work in your favor by adding in a CTA.

Moreover, call to actions play the role of directing a user to a solution. If a potential user likes what you have to say about your app on your website, an ad, or a newsletter, they would wonder what to do next. You don’t want them to browse the app store, you want to them to download the app in one click.

How to Integrate CTAs

CTAs must be designed in a way that they stand out. Change the color of the CTA or make it look like a 3d button so users automatically know where to click.

When it comes to placing the CTA, make sure that you place it in more than one area. You cannot assume that the user will go through a website page or a blog and then read your call to action at the end, even if they are skimming through. The best way around is to add a call to action on every important section so when people skip to the relevant things they can go through the CTA as well.

Your best mobile app marketing methods are nothing without call to actions. It helps if you experiment with various creative ways you can communicate your CTAs. To be sure which one you should narrow down to you can also apply A/B testing and find the route that is the most effective in getting conversions. This will also help you find a pattern on what your particular demographic finds more compelling.
